Out of the trying times brought by the pandemic, LB Beadz emerged with an aim to bring positivity out of the negatives. What stemmed from a quarantine hobby soon became a passion and healthy obsession (although her husband may disagree). Lauren’s ambition drives even further, with her operating LB Beadz. Her products are sold in retail locations throughout the country, a Port Washington store called Lexie, as well as her own Etsy business and directly via Instagram @LBBeadz.

From inspiration to creation, Lauren wanted to design romantic pieces that transport customers to another place. “A year after I launched my business, I started my second line, which is called Henry Reese Co. That is a more luxurious line, with the namesake of my kids’ middle names,” Lauren said.

“I did this all with the help of my favorite creative director, Lauren Kanfi, whose design company is Studio Luli. She is my right-hand person for branding, web design and interiors,” Lauren added.  “The stones I work with are inspired by a famous Italian jeweler named Carolina Bucci,” Lauren noted. “I really love sitting in my room and creating color stories with beads. As a child, I always loved crafting and beading,” Lauren stated. “When I started making the mask chains, I had a reborn love for making jewelry.”
